In what ways is the plot of the Christmas Carol the plot of The Old Man and the Sea different?

They are different in the way that in The Christmas Carol Scrooge is lucky to get given a chance to redeem himself. Where as in The Old Man and the Sea Santiago is out of luck and is trying to redeem his luck.

Well if you guys have any info, please tell me so I can be smart. Hee hee hee

Well in the old man and the sea there was'nt a bunch of crazy ghost's poping up all over the place. ANd in a Christmas carol there was'nt a big fish pulling a boat.

Good post, but if you could give more exaples and more statements about the differences, it would be a lot more exciting.

P.S. Your blog is kinda bright for a LA blog...

Just trying to help

Like Jacob said, I think that they are really different!! The Christmas Carol has a mood that shows the Christmas Spirit but at the same time it is sad. The Old Man and the Sea is more deppressing.

Yeah, the CC is not as practical as TOMATS. The CC has more fantasy in it and TOMATS could actually really happen.
